FAQs
WAVE 3 produces condensation during cooling or dehumidification. When the bottom water tank reaches its maximum capacity, the device will exit cooling mode and switch to fan mode, displaying a "Water Full" message to protect the device.
Connect the drain hose to the drain outlet, then briefly press the drain button. When the drain icon remains lit, automatic draining is activated. The device will automatically drain water as needed during operation; no manual intervention is required.
Connect the drain hose and press and hold the drain button for more than 3 seconds. When the drain icon starts flashing, the water pump will force drain water; after draining, the device will resume normal cooling.
Automatic drainage only activates when the drain hose is correctly connected. Please connect the drain hose before turning on the air conditioner and ensure the unit is placed as horizontally as possible. If the drain hose is not connected, the drain hose is improperly installed, or the unit is tilted at too large an angle, condensate may not drain properly, and the unit will still enter the full water protection state.
The bottom water tank can hold approximately 1100 mL of condensate when full. Automatic drainage typically activates when the water level reaches approximately 300–400 mL; the actual trigger volume may vary depending on the unit's placement angle and ambient humidity.
After cooling or dehumidifying, approximately 50–100 mL of condensate may remain in the bottom water tank. If the equipment is tilted, placed on its side, or shaken violently, residual condensate may leak from the edge of the drip tray, causing a leak.
Before moving the equipment, please drain the water and open the silicone plug on the drain outlet to release any remaining water. During transport, ensure the equipment remains level and upright; do not place it on its side, invert it, or tilt it significantly. It is recommended to prepare a towel or container to catch any spilled water.
Caution: Do not open the silicone plug on the drain outlet or remove the drain hose while the equipment is running, as this may cause a sudden leak of condensate.
