Ecoflow Installation Terms and Conditions (United States)

I. Scope of Installation Service

A. Service Content
This installation service is strictly limited to the standard installation service of the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 2 (“SHP2”) or any bundle that includes the SHP2 alongside other EcoFlow products, including but not limited to the DELTA Pro Series (collectively referred to as the “Products”).
Standard Installation Service – Without Permit Includes on-site visit by a certified electrician and installation of the Products, including wiring the SHP2 to the existing load center.
Standard Installation Service – With Permit Includes all services in the Without Permit option plus the application for the required electrical permit with the local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction), including the labor cost for preparing the necessary documentation, the labor cost for completing the application process, and the permit application fee payable to the AHJ.
Please note that this installation service does NOT include wiring the DELTA Pro Series to solar panels or photovoltaic (PV) systems, nor does it cover the cleaning or disposal of any debris generated during the installation process. If a user requests wiring to solar or PV systems, the electrician reserves the right to decline the installation service.
B. Installation Conditions
The user's home electrical system must fully comply with all applicable local government regulations and electrical standards. Any unauthorized modifications to the home circuit—i.e., changes made without official government approval—will render the property ineligible for installation.
If the user's residence is unusually large, resulting in extended wiring distances or undervoltage risks, the installation may fail to meet the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) or other applicable codes and regulations. In such cases, the installation cannot proceed.
Furthermore, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances that affect the safety, legality, or practicality of the installation, EcoFlow reserves the sole right to determine the final feasibility of performing the service.
C. Territory:
Our installation service covers most areas in the United States. Please verify coverage by entering your ZIP code during checkout. If the order cannot be placed, it indicates your area is currently not serviced - please contact customer support for assistance. Note: ZIP code verification may have minor discrepancies. If service is ultimately unavailable in your location, our customer service team will contact you and process your refund.
D. Service Benefits
The installation service benefits promoted are exclusively available to users who place an order and complete a successful payment for the installation service through the official EcoFlow website (https://www.ecoflow.com/us & https://us.ecoflow.com/). Orders made through third-party platforms or other sales channels are not eligible for these benefits.

II. Installation Fees and Additional Costs

A. Installation Service Fee Coverage
Standard Installation Service – Without Permit: The service fee ONLY covers the installation labor costs.
Standard Installation Service – With Permit: The service fee covers everything in the Without Permit option plus the application for the required electrical permit with the local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction), including the labor cost for preparing the necessary documentation, the labor cost for completing the application process, and the permit application fee payable to the AHJ.
B. Exclusions from the Installation Service Fee
The installation service fee listed on the official EcoFlow website does NOT include the following additional costs, which must be borne by the user:
  • All necessary materials to connect the Smart Home Panel 2 (SHP2) to the upstream distribution panel.
  • Replacement or addition of electrical components such as circuit breakers, junction boxes, etc.
  • Permit application fees required by local regulations in certain jurisdictions (applicable only if you purchase the “Without Permit” installation service option).
  • The On-Site Assessment Fee applies when an electrician visits the customer’s home, either before or during installation. This fee may be waived if (a) the customer proceeds with the installation service without canceling after the assessment, and (b) the electrician confirms that the home satisfies the required installation conditions.
C. Payment Method
Any additional fees not covered by the standard installation service—such as excess labor or materials, or permit application fees (for the Without Permit option) —must be paid directly by the user to the electrician, based on the actual quotation provided and the prevailing local permit costs. EcoFlow reserves the right to the final interpretation of the installation service fee and its applicable scope.

III. Service Limitations and Liabilities

A. Independent Service Agreement
The installation service constitutes a direct agreement between the customer and the electrician. Ecoflow is NOT a party to this agreement and therefore assumes no responsibility or liability for the electrician’s pricing, workmanship, performance, or service quality.
B. Service Refusal Based on Property Assessment
The electrician reserves the right to refuse installation service if, upon on-site assessment, the property is determined to be unsuitable for installation. In such cases, the user remains responsible for the cost of the on-site assessment, regardless of whether the installation proceeds.
C. Liability for Unauthorized Installation
EcoFlow shall NOT be held liable for any product issues, defects, or damages resulting from installation performed by an unauthorized installer. In such cases, the user shall bear full responsibility for any required after-sales service, maintenance, or repairs, and such services may not be covered under EcoFlow’s standard warranty or support policies.
D. No Refund after Installation
Once the installation service has commenced, the installation fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome. If the user is dissatisfied with the product after the Product(s) has been installed and wishes to request a return, the user shall be responsible for (a) the non-refundable installation fee, and (2) the full cost of removing the installed SHP2. These costs will not be covered by EcoFlow under any circumstances. Ecoflow Installation Service Refund Policy can be found here.
E. Cancellation After On-Site Assessment
If the user cancels the installation service after the electrician has conducted an on-site assessment, but before the commencement of the installation of the Products, the installation fee will be refunded, less a deduction for the on-site assessment fee. This assessment fee may be up to USD $500, and the exact amount varies by state.
F. User Responsibility for “Without Permit” Installation Service For Without Permit installations, the user is solely responsible for confirming permit requirements with the local AHJ, obtaining any necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with local codes. EcoFlow and the electrician will not be liable for any penalties, delays, failed inspections, or service refusals arising from the user’s failure to secure required permits.

IV. User Responsibilities

A. Accurate Information Provision
When placing an order, the user must provide accurate personal details, including shipping address and home installation address. The user is also responsible for ensuring that someone is present at the premises and that the provided contact information is reachable at the time of the engineer’s visit. If the user needs to reschedule the installation, they must notify EcoFlow customer service via the official hotline or other designated methods at least one (1) day in advance. Failure to do so may result in an on-site visit fee of up to USD $500, which will be charged to the user.
B. Installation Conditions Assurance
The user shall ensure that their residence, existing distribution panel, and electrical load equipment meet the required installation conditions. If installation cannot proceed, or if additional costs arise due to issues with the home’s infrastructure or non-compliance, the user shall bear full responsibility for such circumstances and related expenses.

V. Disclaimer and Final Interpretation

A. Service Interruption
EcoFlow does not guarantee that the installation service will be free from interruptions, delays, or failures. EcoFlow shall NOT be held liable for any service interruptions caused by force majeure, third-party actions, or circumstances attributable to the user.
B. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ecoflow and its affiliates shall NOT be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to the installation service, including but not limited to property damage, loss of use, or loss of profits, unless such damages result from Ecoflow's gross negligence or willful misconduct. In all cases, the total liability of Ecoflow and its affiliates shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the installation service.
C. Wall Damage
The drilling of holes or structural modifications made during the installation process are deemed standard and necessary procedures to complete the service. The installer shall not be liable for restoring or repairing any normal wall damage or alterations (such as drilling, mounting, or cutting) that occur as part of the installation.
D. Final Interpretation and Updates
EcoFlow reserves the right to the final interpretation of these Installation Terms and Conditions. Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically, as EcoFlow may update or modify them at its sole discretion without prior notice.

 

VI. EcoFlow Installation Warranty Policy

Announcement:

This policy shall apply solely to installation services procured via EcoFlow’s official website, accessible at us.ecoflow.com & ecoflow.com/us.

EcoFlow’s installation services are performed by authorized, professional third-party electricians in accordance with applicable local electrical codes and industry standards. We guarantee that the workmanship of our installation meets professional quality standards, and we support our customers throughout the product warranty period. If you discover an issue caused by installation workmanship, please contact EcoFlow customer support for assistance.

Statutory Rights

This Warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable laws relating to the sale or provision of installation services. The benefits provided under this EcoFlow Installation Warranty are in addition to, and not in substitution for, any rights you may have under applicable laws.

Scope of Warranty

This Installation Warranty covers only defects or failures resulting from improper installation workmanship. If your system operates abnormally due to non-compliant installation or faulty workmanship, EcoFlow will, at no charge, dispatch an authorized electrician to repair or re-perform the installation, ensuring the system is safe, code-compliant, and reliable.
This warranty applies to the following components and work:
  • Physical installation of Smart Home Panel Series, Automatic Transfer Switch, and CP100 series products.
  • Electrical connections between Smart Home Panel, Automatic Transfer Switch, CP100 series products and existing electrical equipment.
  • Internal wiring within Smart Home Panel, Automatic Transfer Switch, and CP100 series products.
  • Damage to third-party products (e.g., circuit breakers) caused by improper installation of Smart Home Panel Series, Automatic Transfer Switch, and CP100.
We will repair, correct, or re-perform any of the above work found to be defective due to improper installation, including necessary labor and material costs.

Exclusions

This warranty applies only to the quality of installation services. Defects in EcoFlow products themselves are governed by the individual product warranty policy (https://us.ecoflow.com/pages/warranty-policy).
This Installation Warranty does not cover (including but not limited to):
  • Defects in third-party products (e.g., externally sourced breakers, cables) unrelated to our installation.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, vandalism, accidents, or other intentional or negligent acts unrelated to installation.
  • Repairs, alterations, or disassembly by unauthorized personnel.
  • Damage resulting from external events such as lightning, power surges, fire, flood, or other natural disasters.
  • Installation or operation in environments that do not meet product specifications, including but not limited to excessive moisture, freezing temperatures, poor ventilation, or hazardous conditions.
  • Normal wear and tear of materials such as wires and breakers.
  • Regulatory changes or new permitting requirements arising after the installation is completed.
  • Use of the system for commercial purposes or in a manner inconsistent with product manuals or EcoFlow's guidance.
  • Installations not performed by an EcoFlow authorized electrician.
  • Unauthorized modifications to the system configuration or load.
  • Any product or service for which the warranty period has expired or valid proof of purchase cannot be provided.
  • Non-compliance with the Product/installation instructions.
  • Willful or deliberate damage, neglect or negligence.
To maintain the validity of this warranty, the customer must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations—including but not limited to building codes, electrical codes, and homeowners’ association (HOA) requirements—as well as follow the product usage instructions and any guidance provided by EcoFlow.

Warranty Claim Process

If you suspect an installation workmanship issue:
  • Report promptly — Contact the electrician, service provider, and EcoFlow customer support as soon as possible to mitigate risk.
  • Prepare documentation — Provide your installation order number, installation date, description of the issue, and photos or videos (if safe to obtain).
  • On-site inspection — EcoFlow will respond to your request within a commercially reasonable timeframe. If the issue is determined to be within the warranty scope, we will make every reasonable effort to arrange for an authorized electrician to contact you and schedule an inspection at your earliest convenience.
  • Resolution — If the issue is confirmed to be caused by the workmanship of EcoFlow's installation, we will provide an appropriate remedy at no additional cost to the customer. Remedies may include correction, reinstallation, or other reasonable solutions depending on the circumstances.
We are committed to transparent communication and timely resolution to minimize inconvenience.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty validity:
  • Use the system in accordance with product manuals and avoid overloading or unauthorized modifications.
  • Do not hire personnel unauthorized by EcoFlow to alter the installation.
  • Perform any recommended maintenance or inspections.
  • Report anomalies promptly.
  • Keep the system connected to the network for remote inspection when requested.

Drywall, Exterior Wall, and Landscape Restoration

While we endeavor to minimize aesthetic damage to walls, floors, exteriors, or landscaping during installation, incidental cosmetic damage may occur and is not covered by this warranty. Please contact EcoFlow for clarification if needed.

Warranty Transferability

This warranty applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address. If the home is sold after the completion of installation, the new homeowner may submit reasonable claims provided the installation remains unaltered and original proof of installation is available. Warranty obligations remain tied to the original address and record.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law(s):
  • EcoFlow’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to repairing or correcting installation workmanship issues as specified herein.
  • EcoFlow is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including secondary damage to other property, loss of use, or personal injury resulting from installation defects.
  • Maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the total installation fee paid by the customer.
  • EcoFlow reserves the right to make a reasonable number of attempts to correct defects. If after more than two correction attempts the issue remains unresolved, EcoFlow may, at its discretion, refund the installation fee and bear the reasonable cost of removing the installed product.
